Project: Planned and Preventative Maintenance Programme at The Bar Convent

The Bar Convent buildings 15-29 Blossom Street are Grade I & II listed and date back from the 17th Century. The range of buildings are of mixed use, with England’s oldest living convent, a heritage centre, and an award-winning guest house.
Gate & Bar have been instructed to survey and project manage repairs and maintenance to the external fabric. The initial phase will see the completion of an external fabric Planned, Preventative Maintenance Programme including high level surveys of roofs and elevations. The identified works will then be collated into a single project commencing in 2024 and will capture repairs and maintenance required for the next 6 years. Gate & Bar will procure and manage the project through to completion.
