Silverdale School - Expansion Feasibility

Silverdale School is a popular Secondary and 6th form provision, located to the South West of Sheffiled City Centre the school has been identified as requiring expansion to meet local pupil number needs. Gate & Bar have been appointed to undertake RIBA Stages 1-2, following space analysis of the existing school and the needs analysis of the schools applied curriculum we have prepared a development appraisal, including suggested site, construction method, costs and programme for review and progression.
The output is a circa 2200m2 new build block comprising 3 floors. the site has its challenges including the location within the green belt and the high quality design and finish of the existing school building, however we are confident this project will progress and would be a great addition to the site and local pupils.
